I will be reading the two books:
Inferno by James Nachtwey
Children of War, Children of Peace by Robert Capa.

I am doing some research on War Photography. This Thanksgiving break, I researched on some famous photographers and learned about how they do their job.
There have been many wars in the past, and only in the past 150 years have we been able to photograph and document these easily.
When the improved camera was introduced in the mid-1800s, one of the first large revolutionary uses of it was the introduction of War Photography into the press. This was revolutionary because people who stayed at home during the wars actually got to see what the battlefield was like, in a relatively lively form.
This caused people all over the world to be moved by these images of death and war in the world that they lived in.
This is from the photographer James Nachtwey, who is considered to be the best War Photographer in the world. In order to find this, I just researched famous photographers, then read James' wikipedia page and look at some of his work.
